Story of a Boy

Julius Cofield
7th Grade
Centennial Campus Middle School

Julius Cofield eagerly participates in all activities. He enjoys poetry and is very creative in both writing and the visual arts. He appreciates the challenge of new activities.

Julius is well-liked and respected among his peers. He is not afraid to share his true thoughts and feelings. He enjoys Boys Group and is committed to doing well in school and in Loaves and Fishes.

Julius made the A-B honor roll this quarter and says his goal is to make the A honor roll by the end of the year. He is a hard worker in both academics and enrichment.

Julius is proud of who he is and what he stands for. At a time when peer influence can be very detrimental, he has been able to remain true to himself.

"Julius is a leader. He is always thinking of things to share with me and the group. In the beginning of the year, I told the class we would read every day, and if they wanted to, it would be great for them to bring in a good book or poem. Julius was the first person to bring poems to read with the group. Since then he has started his own book of poetry which he hopes to publish one day."

- Dana Williams
Coordinator of Youth Academics

"Julius uses his leadership skills in Enrichment to encourage good behavior from the other Champs."

- Catherine Clement
