Other Opportunities

Meals: Each month we have meals at our Family Support Meetings...volunteers to prepare the meals makes a special evening for our wonderful families.

Food Volunteer: Provide food for various events at LAF—Boys and Girls Group, Study Buddy Match Night, special events, and daily snacks.  Commitment is flexible.

Donate Supplies: Donations of school supplies, books, backpacks, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, poster board, notebooks, computer paper, printer ink, stamps, etc. are appreciated and help us keep costs low.

Holiday Angel Tree: Faith Communities help with Angel Tree donations during the holidays.  These wonderful gifts are shared with all the LAF families.  This is such a meaningful part of what we do for our families at LAF.

Special Offerings: Support the ministry of Loaves and Fishes with offerings from your faith community.  Vacation Bible School and Sunday School offerings are examples.

Mission Fairs/Minute for Missions: Support Loaves and Fishes with donations from your outreach/missions committee. 

Community Service Opportunities: Youth Groups help LAF with supply drives, fundraisers, summer work days, providing food and special events for students.

Invite us to your Faith Community: Invite a LAF staff member to your faith community to share the LAF story.  We love to talk to entire congregations, to women’s and men’s groups, to seniors, and to youth.

Plan a meeting at Loaves and Fishes: We love to have groups hold their monthly meetings at LAF during the morning hours.  This is a wonderful way to see where we are located and understand more about what we do in this community.
